Dr. William E. Amos is a seasoned technology executive with an impressive track record of success in software development, product management, and program management. With over 25 years of experience in high tech, he has held leadership positions at top companies such as GE, Meridium, Juniper, and Microsoft. Dr. Amos is passionate about writing code, digital transformations, developing and delivering software solutions, product and program management, information technology and management, problem-solving, data science, cloud computing, security, IoT, leadership, and building great teams. He has led engineering teams that have built software solutions generating over $1 billion in annual revenue, over $1 billion in cost savings and risk avoidance for industrial and manufacturing customers, and overseen a $250 million R&D budget. Dr. Amos has successfully led a startup exit and achieved a 20% increase in market share for cloud-based products and a 25% increase in revenue for IoT, connectivity, and security solutions. He has also served as the Vice Chairman of Region 2 for GO Virginia, an initiative by Virginia’s senior business leaders to foster private-sector growth and job creation through state incentives for regional collaboration by business, education, and government. Dr. Amos holds a Doctor of Computer Science D.C.Sc from CTU, a Master of Information Systems and Design from American University, and a Bachelor of Science - Summa Cum Laude in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Maryland. He also completed a Post Graduate Program in Information Systems Security Strategies from the National Defense University and an Executive Education Program in Organizational Strategy and Leadership from The Wharton School.
